Interiors that make the press.
Blank Slate is a multidisciplinary interior design studio at the Barley Mow Centre in Chiswick, founded and led by creative director Bari Jerauld. Interior architecture, interior design, procurement and design management, on homes from a Wiltshire farmhouse to a Pimlico mansion flat, with projects as far afield as Long Island.
The studio also designs its own collection of bespoke furniture, and its work has featured in House & Garden, Vogue Living, Living Etc and the Financial Times.

The work was winning national press. The website wasn’t pulling its weight. Built on Squarespace with no real search optimisation, it had almost no ranking power, and people looking for an interior designer in West London simply weren’t finding it.
They needed a website as considered as their interiors, one that showed off the projects and the collection, and was properly built to be found by the right clients.

Seven moves.one project, zero templates
A bespoke website
A calm, editorial site that lets the photography lead, matching the quiet confidence of the studio’s interiors.
A clean break from Squarespace
We migrated the whole site to a bespoke build, carrying the content across so nothing was lost and the studio gained full control.
SEO from the ground up
Page titles, descriptions and on-page structure written around the searches that matter, so the studio now shows up for interior design in Chiswick and West London.
Sitemap and technical setup
A proper sitemap, search engine setup and the groundwork Google needs to crawl and rank every project, collection piece and page.
Projects front and centre
Every completed home gets its own space, with upcoming projects teased alongside, so visitors see the studio’s range at a glance.
A home for the collection
A dedicated section for the Blank Slate Collection of bespoke furniture, with a page for each piece and a clear route to enquire.
Enquiries that qualify themselves
A detailed enquiry form that gathers property, scope and budget up front, so the team can say yes to the right projects fast.
Leads went up. A lot.
Moving off Squarespace and building properly for search transformed how Blank Slate is found online. Since launch the studio has seen a huge increase in traffic and leads, with the website now working as hard as the press coverage.
