Made. Found. Decorate.
Filomena is the sister brand of Blank Slate Studio, the Chiswick interior design studio. It’s named after the founder’s great-grandmother, who travelled from Italy to New York.
It brings together three loves: Made, furniture designed in-house and made by hand with local craftspeople; Found, a curated mix of vintage and antique pieces; and Decorate, a range of paints inspired by travels through Italy.
It had to feel like its own brand while clearly belonging to the studio: heritage, craft and beautiful things made to last. And one shop had to sell a handmade dining chair, a one-off vintage find and a tin of paint side by side, without ever feeling like a catalogue.
That meant an identity with real warmth, and a shop built around the photography rather than a product grid.

A brand with a story
We created the Filomena identity and logo: a quiet, elegant wordmark with a “by Blank Slate” signature that ties it back to the studio.
A bespoke website
Designed and built around the photography, with a calm, editorial feel that matches the craft of the pieces.

Made, Found and Decorate each get their own home, so handmade furniture, vintage finds and paint never compete for attention.
