A decade of graft.
Gilbert Construction is a high-end residential builder in Patcham, Brighton, founded by Charlie Gilbert. Trained in carpentry and construction management, Charlie spent around a decade on commercial and premium residential projects before going it alone.
Full refurbishments, extensions, bespoke fit outs and new builds across Brighton and Lindfield, working hand in hand with architects, designers and homeowners. It started life as Tier, and when it became Gilbert Construction we carried the website and the client paperwork across to the new name.
The finish wins the work, so the website had to feel as considered as the homes: calm, premium and confident, never shouty. Finished projects up front, architects reassured and getting in touch made effortless.
Gilbert already had a strong brand of its own. Our job was to carry it online with the same care the team puts into a build.

We took Gilbert’s existing brand and built the whole look from it: deep navy, a restrained palette and elegant serif type that lets the photography do the talking.
